A few common questions, and what to do when something isn't working as you'd expect.
Can I use Collaborator without turning on memory?
Yes. Memory is entirely optional. Collaborator works fully without it — you'll just re-share any context you want it to use each time, rather than it remembering across conversations. You can turn memory on later if you change your mind.
If I downgrade, do I lose the documents I made?
No. Anything you've made or downloaded is yours to keep, regardless of which tier you're on.
Why did the app say it didn't know something?
The app answers from Melis's books, not from general knowledge. If you ask about something the books don't cover, it's built to tell you so rather than make something up. That's deliberate — it's how you can trust that what it does tell you is grounded in her actual work.
If it's a leadership question rather than a design one — something about leading a team or growing as a leader — that sits outside what these books are for, and the app will point you toward the right place for it.
A page reference or answer looked wrong. What do I do?
Use the thumbs down on the response and add a quick note about what was off — a wrong page number, an answer that missed the mark. That feedback comes straight back to us, anonymously, and it's genuinely how we catch and fix things. It makes a difference.
How do I manage what the app remembers about me?
Everything the app remembers is visible to you as a labelled list, and you can edit, switch off, or delete any of it — or turn memory off entirely. See Memory & privacy: your control for the full walkthrough.
